Kind Words of Inspiration from PLM's fan base

We thank everyone for expressing their deep appreciation of the efforts of PLM to directly touchbase with its important local and global stakeholders. This is PLM's commitment to full transparency and accountability in public service.

It would be untenable, if not impossible, to digest all the expressions of gratitude by the vast PLM community. Hence, this note may not be updated for most periods. This explains why there are certain periods where such statements of appreciation were not posted in here. 

Be that as it may, below are few of the kind words of inspiration that keep PLM, as a public servant-institution, inspired to serve even more.

Lubos po akong nagpapasalamat sa inyo sa pagbibigay nyo po ng panahon at sa pagpapamalas niyo ng inyong galing at talino para masagot po ung tanong ko. Sa inyong kasagutan marami po akong mga bagay na natutunan. sa inyong mga nasabi nakita ko ang tunay na halaga ng edukasyon, karamihan sa kabataan ngayon hndi na naiicp ang kahalagahan ng kaalaman. Ang kaalaman ay hindi lamang simpleng pagkakaroon ng kaalaman sa isang bagay bagkus ang isang tunay na matalino ay ginagamit ang kanyang kaalaman para sa ikakabuti ng lahat. Nagpapasalamat din po ako dahil ako ay naging isang mag-aaral ng PLM isang napakalaking pribilehiyo ito sa akn. mmuli po, maraming maraming maraming salamat po sa pagsagot at pagbibigay ng kaalaman. Pagpalain po kayo ng Diyos. kung sinuman po kayong nasa likod ng page na ito lubos ko po kayong hinahangaan at nais ko po kayong tularan sa paglilingkod sa aking mga kapwa estudyante.

With the CEP (PLM’s communication enhancement program) as the foremost frontline service of PLM, it is our commitment to serve the public best and to ensure that the concerns of our important stakeholders like you are attended to promptly and accurately, even in the dead of the night and the outskirts of dawn, holidays, inclement weathers and emergencies, etc.

This page is monitored round-the-clock and we reply urgently if there’s a ready answer, as a matter of protocol and deep commitment to service excellence and utmost transparency. On the other hand, we coordinate and inquire with the concerned offices for inquiries involving those which may be:
-new or yet under development (and therefore not yet part of our institutional memory) but is already a matter of legitimate concern for our stakeholders;
-internal or specific to certain units within PLM;
and the like. Items like these pass through our scrutiny so that the information we share have qualified our test of quality, both in form and in substance. It may take a very short while to firm up the response, but it is sure worth the short wait.

In the performance of this function, the CEP Program Manager is guided by the ethos that our main clienteleis none other than the vast majority of the academic community: the scholars. We are here because of you and we will never falter nor renege from this unbending commitment. This is PLM’s mission and, therefore, our enduring command.

Thank you for the expression of respect, deference and high esteem. Others express the same out of the concrete and visible outputs of our hard work and our determination to provide relevant services that redound to the benefit of our stakeholders. Yours, on the other hand, is a synergy of (1) what everybody can see and (2) your personal knowledge of the personality and service commitment of the CEP Program Manager as you have had an hour of chance to know him in 2010 in an environment-themed event . The CEP Program Manager, while he is a university official, however, remains incognito. While you may have worked with him for an hour in 2010, you may not, as of yet, have been aware that he is actually the CEP Program Manager.

As an alumna, you can perfectly see the extreme value of our efforts as juxtaposed to the absence of such during your time in PLM. PLM will always be there to lend a helping hand to its scholars, even after graduation. Be rest assured that you and your successors (as the next breeds of scholars) will benefit immensely from the continuous improvement that PLM is developing on home grounds. The whole world will look up to PLM and its graduates, like you, wherever you and all other alumni may go.

As you may understand, PLM is a very transparent institution and through this official FB page, as one of the Communication Enhancement Program (CEP) tools, we seek to reach out to our important stakeholders like you -- wherever you are, whenever you have the need for clarification, etc.
Yes, we do maintain this first social media site of PLM on a 24x7 fashion, even on holidays and under the threat of inclement weathers, on a gratis en amore arrangement.
Once we have the right info to respond to the queries, we immediately post the same. It is our mission to be able to lodge our replies to concerns at the most opportune time, if not instantaneously.
All the administrative and academic units are very open to satisfy your need for information and elucidation.
Again, our utmost gratitude for your encouraging words...! :-)
